COMMITTEES
Cultural
and Social Committee:
Facilitate interactions among the members and their
families by organizing educational, social and cultural events. Provide
opportunities for interaction by organizing activities such as seminars,
discussions, and dialogues between its members and leaders, thinkers,
educationists of the wider world.
Library
Committee:
To increase the acquisition of books and library
materials on India in the library,to expose Lexington residents to Indian
culture and to discharge our civic responsibility by helping the library.
Resource
Committee:
Provide technical help and support to realize goals of
all groups efficiently.One of the most important aspects of this group
will be to design and develop website in a way that it would serve as a
framework for IAL in accomplishing its mission.
Public
Affairs & Town Liaison Committee:
Create consciousness among the members about the
importance of involvement in civic and current affairs and generate
visibility and contacts in those areas for the good of the members of IAL
community.
Community
Outreach Committee:
Includes Family support System and helping the community
in general.
Develop a strong wing in IAL for generating a consciousness in the
community for humanitarian causes and motivate them to contribute towards
those causes.
